What is powder coating?  To put it in a nutshell, powder coating is applying a polymer based powder (think plastic) to any metal part that can withstand a 400 degree cure cycle for up to 30 minutes.  The result is an extremely durable and beautiful finish that is far superior to most conventional “wet” paints.  Color choices are endless, and on larger batches color matching is an option.

Here at Fabtech, we are both an industrial coater and custom coater.  With an 8’x8’x20’ 1.1 million btu microprocessor controlled cure oven, we can process large complex industrial parts and batches uniformly.  No under cure, no over cure – guaranteed.   As far as custom coater, we are avid car and motorcycle enthusiasts, and we coat A LOT of car and bike parts.  We do not take any shortcuts  when it comes to properly prepping and pre-treating your prized hot rod’s parts for finishing.  2-stage and 3-stage powders are no problem, even pin-striping and 2 tone jobs are common here.  If we would not bolt it on our ride (and we’re very picky), we do not expect you to.
